Heavy implantation bleeding!

I just had what I thought was my period heavy bleeding for 3 days and I’ve just taken a pregnancy test and it’s positive!

I’m so shocked and worried as I was having pregnancy symptoms before what I thought was AF then once she arrived just thought that was that! I’m now thinking have I had an early miscarriage or could it be ectopic as the bleeding was heavy with clots but it’s stopped now.

Has anyone experienced this with a positive outcome?

I had very heavy bleeding at the start of this one; lasted significantly longer than 3 days as well! I'm now in the 3rd trimester and everything has been very straightforward.
