21 weeks painful sex, lost some plug ?

Hi all,

I’m 21 weeks pregnant and currently on holiday. Me and my partner had sex last night and it was extremely painful to the point I was like we have to stop. It wasn’t dry more like he was hitting something. It was the same sensation as before I was pregnant if I put a tampon in at a certain angle it would hit something and I would have to re angle/ bypass if that makes sense.
So then today after going to the toilet I noticed a big belly ball in my knickers like some of my plug maybe?
I’m not in pain and I’ve been feeling baby toss, turn and kick all day.
Should i be worried? I don’t want to go to some dodgy Turkish hospital unless I’m in pain or really feel like something is wrong.

Could you call your UK midwife and ask them for advice? It's best to be safe especially at such early gestation.

It's very possible for the plug to reform. It's not uncommon to lose some of it during pregnancy, so rest assured on that front. I'd text mw too, but seek urgent advice if you get pain and r bleeding etc...

He probably just hit your cervix, which can be even more irritable during pregnancy because of f the increased blood flow to the area.
