Low blood sugar issues?

Hi guys! I'm 15+4. I've been super exhausted since about week 7, but had been starting to feel a little bit better for a week or so, until last Sunday (as in the 28th July). Then I was just hit with very extreme exhaustion. I spent Sunday - Tuesday in bed or on the sofa, dragged myself into work on Wednesday, worked from home Thursday (but regretted it) and had to take Friday off again.

The doctors have signed me off this week and done a bunch of blood tests etc. Today I got the results of most of them and they said everything looks fine except my blood sugar was a bit on the low side. It was 4 - apparently anything under 6 is normal for a 'fasting' blood, but I'd actually had a snack and sugary drink not long before, to make sure I didn't get wobbly after the blood test.

So my doctor has suggested that might be part of the problem, and to try eating little and often. She's also suggested to chase up a glucose tolerance test with my midwife when I see her on Friday. She didn't seem worried about gestational diabetes and said they normally worry more about high blood sugar rather than low.

Has anyone experienced anything similar/got any tips on management? Obviously I'm a little concerned if there's any risk it could be linked to GD.
