Am I Pregnant?

Hey everyone, I am just looking for some reassurance about my situation. I am 20 years and in a relationship with an amazing man (age 19). I use the contraceptive patch as my contraception but I am worried that I am pregnant. My period is a week late; I took a test on the day my period was due and it was negative. I hadn’t worried about it until it has now been a week and I think I’ve started to get symptoms relating to pregnancy (extreme tiredness and hunger) although this may just be a placebo as I am worried that I am actually pregnant .

I have been really good with using my patch, so I’m wondering is it possible that I am pregnant? I feel as though a child would be such a great addition to my life but it’s not something that I had planned for (university student, living with parents) any advice from young mums would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Only way to know is to take another test.

@Pxrxy you can probably take it whenever if your period is a week late. Good luck

Update: the test was negative, and I can’t help but feel a little bit disappointed. I know I’m still young and there is plenty of time for babies but I just feel a little bit disappointed in the outcome
