Overbump pj’s

Has anyone seen some nice over the bump pj’s anywhere?
Ds2 due to arrive by c-section in 10 weeks. We don’t need much stuff this time, so I thought I’d treat myself to something comfy to wear before & after the birth. I’m not a fan of anything touching my c-section scar, but am really struggling to find anything that goes over the bump.
Any other top tips for comfy post section wear would also be appreciated.
Thanks 🙂

I've bought some from Asda and they're quite good. In terms of section-wear (mine is in 10 days), I've gone for XL nightshirts from Primark because I want to try and breastfeed (they have buttons) plus I've read that PJs can be a bit of a pain if you have a catheter in. Obviously that's only relevant for the first 12 hours or so though!

I got some from matalan

I can't help with c section clothes though as I didn't have one; but a lot of my friends said they preferred long nighties after a c-section

George asda have some, pink camisole longish top with shorts, they would be better with a catheter which hopefully the nurse will tie to your leg. congrats.

Thanks @mynameiscalypso. Just seen a promising pair in Asda.

I’ve got a couple of button down nighties for the catheter & skin to skin situation.
I suppose I could wear them with leggings after I get home. I just really fancy some nice pj’s / lounge wear to cosy up in for the first few weeks that will be warm, comfy & decent enough to receive visitors in.

I got some from H&M. It took ages to find a pair.
I also ended up buying gap under bump ones which ended up being comfy with the scar as well.

Boohoo have some really comfy ones xx

I also bought a pair of...I think they were described as post-surgery pyjamas from Asda. I'm not sure what makes them that but similarly thought they might be useful for lounging around in the weeks after the op.

Jojo have some and Seraphine (if you wanted to splash out!)

cattaxi · 05/08/2019 22:12

I was looking at those @Paradyning - but I’m a messy cow & can’t wear light colours! Maybe they’ll bring some darker ones out for autumn.

@Lisalou88 - I can’t figure out which of the boohoo ones go over the bump. Can you link?

@Sunshinegirl82 kind of tempted to splash out, but feel so bad doing that just before shitty maternity pay!

I’ve ordered some from Asda to try. Going to look at other suggestions now. Thanks!
