Hi! I am taking Pregnacare Original vitamins and eating my 5 a day (mainly in fruit) and drinking 1.5 litres of water a day. Is there any other vitamins I should be taking? Any health tips will be appreciated. Want to give my little one the best start I can!

Lord no. Literally just eat a sensible diet and take folic acid (for the first 12 weeks) and vitamin D. Don’t spend any money as a healthy adult in a developed country on what (unless you are one of the few people who has a genuine deficiency and therefor should be on a higher, prescribed dose of vitamins) is just marketing bollocks that you will literally piss away.

That sounds fab so far, nothing I would add. But how many weeks are you? I was like you for two weeks after finding out I was pregnant, then the morning sickness hit me - from then on it was all beige food (when I could eat at all) and juice (couldn’t stomach just water) for the next three months - didn’t seem to have any adverse effects by the way, DS is very healthy. So I guess I’m saying you could get away with a lot less!
