Weird pregnancy result

Afternoon,

Me and my husband are trying to conceive. Just took a pregnancy test and got a weird result. Please see picture.

I have a vertical line in control window, and a faint horizontal line in the test window.

Anyone know what this means?

I had something similar as a teenager in the 90s during my one pregnancy scare.

Phoned the helpline number on the packet who told me to do another in 48 hrs. Period came by then.

As an adult now, I’d get a proper test like a FRER and try again immediately. Good luck.

Faulty test. Do another one.

I would say that is a dye run from the control line and would be classed as an invalid test. I would wait 48 hours and use a First Response test (or any pink dye test) as they are less prone to false results.
