Got a scan today.. need opinions ions

Hi guys I'm not to sure if I'm posting on the right thing, but basically I got a scan today.. and it was a good clear picture. I got a scan because I had cramps last night and I was worried,but everything is fine, and in the scan it says GA- 9 weeks 2 days and then the baby turned around and it said 8 weeks 6 days GA, my last bleed was 1st of june, and when she was scanning me she said the dates work out well, as people know from my previous post I had a bit of a worry as I slept with someone on the 25th of may and took Mornin after pill .. can anyone tell me roughly when conception occured. I also went for a scan on the 16th of july and it said 6 weeks 1 day, Oh she also told me today my due date will be the 6th or 7th of march. Thank you x

I did a quick conception date calculator with the dates you put in and if due day is 6th March then conception was most likely between 11th-15th June. Unless the due date is way off I’d say 25th May would be too early

It would make sense to me as I also got a scan on the 16th of july and it said 6 weeks 1 day aswell so it would be so unlikely 2 scans would get the dates way off, does GA measure from the first day of your last period?? It would also make sense cause (I know clearblues arent always accurate) but I done a weeks indicator on the 26th and 29th of June and they both said 2-3 weeks then on the 3rd of july I done another and it just changed to 3+ so that would be around 11th/12th 13th of june as it just changed to 3. I also done tests on the 10th,14th and 18th of june and I got negatives, am I right in sayin if I got pregnant on 25th of may I would of got a positive on the 18th of June as that would of been 3 weeks 4 days after it x

I’d say if you had a period after the morning after pill and going by the dates you have given that pregnancy would’ve happened mid June and not in May. I didn’t see your last post but I assume the May guy is not the June guy? If so, I think you’re ok. The scans are pretty accurate

Omg so sorry, just realising I wasnt so clear in the post, I had sex once with a guy before getting back together with my ex boyfriend, me and my boyfriend got back on the 3rd of june and had sex every day in june .. x

My baby had a March 7th due date and I conceived on 13th June. You are talking a three week discrepancy, which at this stage would be obvious. Taking into account that you had a period between partners, I'd put money on the baby being your partner's.

And yes, at 24 dpo you'd have got a positive test.

I think you are in the clear so try not to worry - although you are pregnant so now you’ll worry for the rest of your life 😉

Update so was at the midwife today and they said my due date might actually change till a later date as my menstrual cycle is like 33/34 days so I might of ovulated later then is that a good thing ??

@Sjoe456 I think I read your last post about this as well, but never commented as felt a lot of people had already jumped on it! I think your in the clear with the baby being your now boyfriends. I doctor originally thought I was 9w+4 but now they are saying the measurements of my scan yesterday shows I'm actually 8w+5, which means my ovulation must have been later than I thought, I have really long cycles sometimes too, I range between 28-34 (hence the difficultly actually finding my real ovulation day!) and this month must have been a long one. Thank u! I've had two scans now and theyve both went back to the 3rd of June. Then the scan I had last week went back to the 1st of June which was my last bleed, so the nurse was like "your dates match up" so if the baby was the guy from the 25ths my last period would of been the 12th of may so am I right in saying the nurse would of been like "um no the scans actually going back to around the 12th of may??" X

This is a bit of a personal question, so please feel free to not answer, how long (how many days) was it between the one night stand and you now bf?? You might have said this before already.

Your dates are very similar to mine for conception/due date/last period etc, so I'm going to outline my dates below so you can maybe match then up with yours?

My last period started on 4th June
I think the actual day it happened (sperm meets egg), was the 20th June
I tested positive on the 1st July
Midwife thought from these dates I was 9w+4 today with a due date of 10th March, but scan yesterday shows measurements that I'm actually 8w+5 today with a due date of 15th March.

Maybe this will help with working out yours more??

So the ONS was 25th of may, I took the mornin after pill 12 hours after cause it was a mistake, I was drunk, but I was single, then on the 1st of june I had a bleed it only lasted 3 or 4 days more 3 days, was like a dark brown dark red, i was scared that it was implantation bleeding but I had to use tampons and when I stood up from the toilet there was dark red droplets on the floor (sorry for tmi) then me and my boyfriend got back together and had sex for the first time on the 3rd of June then every single day sometimes twice a day like everyday in June apart from the 16th and 17th of June Haha, I done pregnancy tests on the 10th,14th and 18th and they all came back negative, so the one i done on the 18th of june would of been 3 weeks and 4 days since I had sex with the one night stand! then I got my first positive on the 26th of june and it said 2-3 weeks then done another on 29th of june and it said 2-3 weeks also, then I done another test on 3rd of July and it just changed to 3+ I went for a scan on the 16th of july and it said 6 weeks 1 day.. then went for a scan on monday the 5th august and it said 9 weeks 2 days, which goes back exactly to my bleed on the 1st of june, then the baby turned round to the side and it said 8 weeks and 6 days which is 4th of june x

Ok, so your dates do match mines kind of. I also had sex on the 25th June, but I had a period after that on the 4th-9th June. I was according to my doctor on 5th August 9w+1 but with the scan measurements I'm measuring 8w+1. I think it's safe to say conception happened in June after the bleed from the morning after pill, meaning the baby is your bf's. I think a DNA test when baby is here would be the only way to 100% confirm this which I'm sure your aware off, but I really don't think you have much to worry about. Plus, I read you were honest about the ONS with your bf, there wouldn't be any harm having the DNA done just for assurance once little one is here, means you can both just move on and forget about that night completely..

The scan will work your dates back to the day of your last period (gestation age used on the scan is how long from the period).

Your period came on 1st June, which would give you a current gestational age of 9 weeks 6 days today. It is always a bit of a guess as we don't all ovulate on day 14 and the embryo does not always implant immediately (they say 5-10 days to implant). That means that although you would be from your period 9+6, if you ovulated later or implanted later you could be a bit less than that (which could give you the 8+6 reading).

It is all a bit more difficult at early stages because we are only talking a couple of centimetres (your little one is probably only about 2.5cm long) so a couple of millimetres out on the measurement can account to days.

For the dates you have, you have to have conceived after your period on 1st June and it has to be your boyfriend/the ex you got back together with.

For it to be from your ONS, it would date back to your period before 1st June. Was that around 1st May? You mentioned 12th May, but that would only be 2 weeks before your bleed on 1st June? If your period was around 1st May then 1st June, for it to be the ONS, your pregnancy would date back to the period on 1st May, so you would be 14 weeks and 2 day, which is quite a difference from what you are measuring and would not work.

If you did have a period on 12th May and then on 1st June, for you to get pregnant from that cycle, you would now be 12 weeks and 5 days, which is still a long way out from what you are measuring.

I think it can only be, from the details you have given, that you got pregnant from your period on 1st June by your boyfriend to be around the 9 weeks and 6 days pregnant (or a bit less if you ovulated late).

As your pregnancy goes on the due date estimate will get clearer, but as pp has said, at 9+6 you will be due around 7th March, but you may be due slightly after that if you ovulated a little later.

I had a period on 12th of may or the 11th it was, my period came early on the 1st of june I think cause I took the mornin after pill 12 hours after the ONS. I read on google it can make it come early, yeah I agree I got a due date of 7th of march and I put in a conception calculator and it says 12th-17th of june for that due date, also I done a preg test on the 10th,14th and 18th of june , if it was the ONS wouldnt one of them of came back positive, the ONS was the 25th of may x

And I think I may of ovulated later maybe as when I got that scan on the 5th of August it said 9 weeks 2 days then it changed to 8 weeks 6 days etc x
