Ordinary nail polish is fine to use in pregnancy.

You want toxin free nail varnish? Or free nail varnish?? 😂😂😂

AnneLovesGilbert · 05/08/2019 15:11

I used normal stuff when I was pregnant. Haven’t bothered to paint my finger nails since she was born so enjoy it for now Smile

What's wrong with normal? I continued shellac through pregnancy and after my son was born

luckygreeneyes · 05/08/2019 15:18

Just had shellac as normal

hi take a look at Butter London. its non toxic and stays on pretty well. they also do a base coat, so you could possibly use normal on top.

you can get it from amazon or ocado- im sure there are others too. x

Either, toxic free which ive looked at seems more for children on what i could find, 5 free would be good just couldnt find much.
In other pregnancy ive used any but wanted to find one that is better to use when pregnant so i can use it when she is here too.
Will look at nailberry & butter london, thanks x

You could look at Zoya, I think their stuff is toxin free.

SageYourResoluteOracle · 06/08/2019 01:11

Yes- I used Zoya when I was pregnant. Still have some left actually but prefer shellac nowadays.

Not sure if Nubar is 5-free but they have less nasties in them and are high quality. Another one to try if you don't have luck with the others.

Normal polishes contain formaldehyde and other unpleasant ingredients that I forget, and they give some people severe headaches, so I understand not wanting to breathe them in during pregnancy.
