Harmony NIPT - Fetal Sex inconclusive. Anyone else?

I’ve just had my results back and whilst everything was all low risk, the Fetal sex came back as inconclusive (as did the Sex Chromosome Aneuploidy). The woman on the phone informed me that they would now be testing the second vial of blood they had for it and in 2/3 cases a determination can be made. Has this happened to anyone else? The Fetal DNA %age was 11.4% which I thought was enough to determine this! I’m just now worrying something is wrong....

I'm surprised they're retesting for the sex chromosomes. When I had my Harmony they said that they'd only retest if the trisomy screening was inconclusive. As I understand it (from what the consultant told us), it's quite common not be able to detect the sex and the aneuploidy part of the test is much less accurate than the trisomy ones. Try not to worry OP - I know that's easier said than done! 🍀

Thanks @weathergirl11 ! Oh that’s strange that it was different for you. They just said I should hear back in the next few days as they were going to test the second vial taken from my original blood draw. Hopefully they find it out! And yes trying to put it to the back of my mind but it’s proving difficult to do! Thanks for your reply :)
