Hi can anyone help. I'm going abroad in oct and suffer terribly with bites and stings, especially mossies.
I will be 5months by then and have been told to use products without "DEET" in them.

If anyone knows of anything to use i'd be very gratefull. Ta x

I always get bitten loads too. When I went on hols I used an anti-insect lotion I bought from a health food shop. It absolutely stank but it seemed to do the trick. Natural ones tend to have lots of citronella oil in them so they smell quite lemony.
If you're going somewhere more tropical where there's a risk of getting something nasty like malaria, you might want to check with a pharmacist or your GP to find something stronger but safe. I know in some countries like the US they advise pg women that DEET is safe. I didn't want to risk it though.

I was in Spain too and it worked ok for me. I did get a few nasty bites but I think it was on nights where I'd forgotten to put lotion on or I'd missed bits.
Remember to take lots of suncream...apparently it's scorching there at the mo!
