Worrying about stress in pregnancy

I’ve also managed to convince myself the baby I’m carrying will have autism Hmm (it runs in the family)

Anyway, I’m almost 8 weeks and suffering from PND from DC1. I feel so stressed and angry all the time. (I know I shouldn’t have fallen pregnant again but it happened)

I’m going to go back to taking antidepressants as I stopped taking them when I found out I was pregnant. I’m worried I’ve already done some damage.

Has anyone been super stressed or had PND during a pregnancy and everything turn out fine?

I’m in kind of the same boat - 36 weeks and during this pregnancy I’ve had to leave my job, had crippling sickness, witnessed the death of a close relative and have just found out my dad may have cancer. It has not been an easy ride and I’ve been really worried about the stress! I did end up googling the effects of stress in pregnancy and that made me more worried - my midwife ended up putting a lot of my fears to rest and reassured me that my body is basically set up at the moment to protect the baby and that it won’t have an adverse effect on the little one. I’d have a conversation with your midwife if you can about it, I found it really helpful.
