I took this test 6 hours ago and nothing came up, I have just gone to throw away and it looks like this, is it a false negative, the test is an early swift one from the local pharmacy

False positive?

Hard to say as the dye has run/flooded and might just have pooled where the first line would be. I think you need to re test

Thumper13 · 04/08/2019 13:19

Perfect thank you I.feel relieved now

If it wasn't positive within the timeframe, it's negative. Some tests are only valid for 5 mins, some 10. You'll need to test again (I recommend waiting at least 48 hours).

Really? Was so strange how it appeared? I took a clear blue digital today which says not pregnant so bit confused now

Clear blue takes a lot more hgc in ur urine for that to come up positive xx

Thumper13 · 04/08/2019 20:56

How did u get on x

Thumper13 · 06/08/2019 23:15

Tried a clear blue today and negative, slight spotting when I wipe but nothing on a pad and my period was due Sunday. So thinking it's a false alarm. X

Really bad showing a line though if was negative as it's a very worrying and stressful time!

Yea I agree it's very strong positive aswel xx

Whatisinaname1 · 07/08/2019 09:44

Have you tried a first response test? They are more accurate than clear blue when early. Hopefully you will get the answer you want.

Thumper13 · 07/08/2019 11:04

I havent yet but I have brown blood not loads but there, that's not possible if pregnant is it?

OP posts:
physicskate · 07/08/2019 11:25

It's not common, but can be totally normal to have some bleeding (brown or red) during early pregnancy. Full blown period bleeding during pregnancy is very uncommon though.

keepingbees · 07/08/2019 22:21

A little brown blood is common, it could be implantation bleeding. When I had it it was there when I wiped but nothing on a pad and lasted 2 days in and off.

AF is here, red blood, thank you all, still not quite sure on why there was a pink line but the drama is over, thanks guys for your replies x
