Third trimester and ugly swollen lady area

Sorry if this is tmi but this is my first pregnancy so I dont know if its normal 😅 I'm in my third trimester and my neither region is looking very very puffy and enlarged and quite red. Its hideous to be perfectly honest. Is this normal and will it go back to normal (as close as normal can get)? Thanks

Im 31 weeks and mine has been like this for months asked midwife and she said its just because of the extra blood flow and the pressure down there from baby pushing down. Doesnt help i also have varicose veins there which are an extra inconvenience
