How far along am i?

Hello so this may sound confusing but going out my mind trying to figure it out!

So i know they usually date it from LMP but i had early scans and that doesn't come out at what the baby is measuring so by LMP i should be 8 weeks 1 day but Scan on Monday baby measured about 6 weeks 2 days.

I got a positive ovulation test on the 17th June so may have ovulated 24-48hrs after that.
I got my first positive test on the 26th June (SUPER faint) so may have only just caught it earliest i can.

So if i add 2 weeks to date i got a positive i would be 7 weeks 2 days and would make sense that its only a few days out measurement wise as i know it can vary alot this early on.

Does that make sense or have i completely made something up?

I would say you are around 8 weeks. Generally the baby’s size is too unreliable to estimate the gestation accurately at early scans which is why the dating scan is done around 12 weeks.

Hoping measurements will catch up then, have got another scan on Monday and then 15th so fingers crossed

Early scans tend to be put by a few days either way. Mine with DS2 and this baby dated me back by a week from LMP but my 12 week scan was bang on my dates with both.

@Mintypea5 Hope i have same outcome as you did, I've got another scan on Monday and then on 15th so hopefully by the 15th it'll be a bit more accurate
