First trimester exhaustion..

I am really tired. I didn’t get particularly knackered with my first, very sick yes. Tired, yes but not to exhaustion.

This one, I’m sick (on meds) & beyond exhausted. I’m finding it a real struggle to get up & running in a morning (despite going to bed at 8pm!) and I’m finding it hard to concentrate on work as I just want to be asleep. I’ve worked from home this week as the sickness has been bad & that’s been hard enough! I know I’m going to have to try drag myself in next week as I’ve just started a new job following a promotion Sad

I also gave a very energetic toddler to entertain but my other half is being wonderful & doing the bulk of child based play activities!

How do people cope?! I literally just want to be asleep. My limbs feel heavy & useless Confused .. I really need to pull myself together a bit!

I found it horrendous second time round, I couldn't believe how utterly exhausted I was! And having a toddler too was...interesting! I worked from home more too as commuting 3 hours a day into London was really tough (and I didn't even have awful sickness like you).

Annoyingly the tiredness lasted longer for me this time- 16 weeks rather than 12 with my first. But I've felt great since it disappeared. The third trimester aches and pains are proving much easier than that bone aching exhaustion!

Hope you can fit in as many naps as possible and that you reach the end of it soon.
