Hello,

I went for an early scan at what i thought i should of been 6 weeks 5 days (knew my ovulation date) and the CRL was only 2.6mm which the sonographer said with less than 6 weeks.
They scanned me a week later so should of been 7 weeks 5 days and CRL was 5.7mm and dated me at 6 weeks 2 days.
There was a heartbeat present at both my scans very obvious for my first scan but had to look really closely and took a while to find on the 2nd scan.

Has anyone had same experience?
I've got another scan on Monday to check progress but can't help worrying that baby isn't growing like it should and because the heartbeat was barley visible on 2nd scan.

Honestly it doesn't sound like great news. Did they give you any indication of the speed of the heartbeat

Sparkle0109 · 01/08/2019 13:34

Could you have ovulated a little later then you thought?

pottypotamus · 01/08/2019 14:08

Maybe you ovulated a little later and also took longer to implant? These could maybe give you a few days difference?
Don't lose hope yet. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

@7sunnysundays No they gave no heartbeat speed but said all looked good even when i asked about being further behind they just say the same thing which the fetal pole is so small at this stage its hard to get an exact measure.
So hoping not to get bad news on Monday as I've already had 2 miscarriages and a molar pregnancy in the last year so here hoping all goes well

well what I've work out is i could maybe be about the time they said if i count it from the day after i got my BFP as i tested early and got the faintest line which i had to wait to confirm because it was ridiculously faint and i have short cycles so don't know if that makes a difference

Hopefully it will all be fine. I don't know much about a heartbeat being hard to find but I do know if it's too slow it's a sign of things not progressing well. As they haven't mentioned any problems with it I'd hope for the best xx
