Hi all

Quick question I've been losing my mucus plug for like four days and it's a lot haha is this normal? Does it continue now until labour? I looked on google says it's around two tablespoons and I'm more then sure I'm on 7 now 😂

You say it's more like 7 but apparently you only lose one egg cup of blood during a period and that feels like about 20 😂

Are you sure your waters haven't broken?

I didn't lose my plug until I'd been in slow labour for 3 days but I'm sure it doesn't drag out for that long.

Didn’t lose mine until I was in labour but I remember being shocked by the amount so I think it’s normal

It can go for weeks, and it also regrows! So depends where in pregnancy you are etc!

My mucus plug/ bloody show was the size of a big sanitary towel then some more. I hope you're ok now and hopefully things are moving along.

Well I have one healthy boy labour was well the opposite off what I wanted totally my advice is don't bother with one haha

Contractions started at 6am nearly 24 hrs after waters broke became really intense straight away was stuck at 2/3cm for nearly 20 hrs no pain killers would work body had enough so I asked for an epidural the one thing I did not want and finally 5am I was fully dilated at 7:15 am I had assisted delivery suction cap and one healthy boy was born and only needed one stitch. Lost quite a bit off blood. But my doctor was amazing.

But can fully say each labour is different and this really made me never to have children again but after having him in my arms I think baby 3 in a few years haha

Also just to add I had two sweeps one at 38 and another at 39 even when you have had enough and want to give birth please wait to go naturally I feel I forced my body that's why my labour was soo long and so many complications even at 10 cm dilated my cervix was still very high.

Good luck mummy's to be SmileGrin
