2 weeks ago, 2 days before I was supposed to start my period I had brown spotting. Then no period. Took a pregnancy test today and came back positive. But I’m not sure if it’s accurate as it’s one of the cheap ones?

A positive is a positive!

Buy a different type of you need to reassure yourself 🙂

Are you actively ttc? Not on any contraception?

If so, then highly likely you're pregnant. Buy a more a expensive pt.

Robs20 · 31/07/2019 22:05

I had the same and was pregnant! Are you ttc? Congratulations!

Yes been ttc since the start of this year, going to buy a clearblue tomorrow x

It's probably accurate. I took a cheaper test first but then took a clear blue just to reassure myself

I used a £1 test and got a positive, now nearly 18 weeks. Think cheap ones can be just as accurate

Andersonx3 · 01/08/2019 08:00

I used a strip test, 30 for £2 on eBay and I'm now 23 weeks! I did buy a slightly more expensive one after getting 2 bfp's in the cheapo's though just to be sure, however the line was much darker on the cheap ones!

So, are you pregnant? Clearblue is ok. I also tried First response and it worked fine for me. You can read more about it from here popular.reviews/best-pregnancy-tests/#2_First_Response_3_tests.

Hi can anyone show me how I post a picture? I have a pregnancy test here and not sure whether the lines are evap lines or not and would like some advice on the test

Hi, Tia. Under the message box, click "choose a file" and add your picture.

Hi, from my own experience and what I’ve seen on here the FRER seem to be pretty accurate or you could ask the Drs for a blood test to test your HCG levels. Fingers crossed for you xx
