Girl's Name - Alma

I really like the name Alma for my little girl, due in November.
I know it probably reminds us of a certain character in a well-known soap, but we could attribute that thinking to any name if we tried hard enough.
Thoughts?

I remember the character you're referring to ! Ha ha ! I think it's lovely. It also means ' soul ' in Spanish I think. I doubt many people will remember the character from desperate housewives.

Also- who cares what anyone thinks.
