Still exhausted in second trimester!

I hate to rant but here goes...

I am 17 weeks pregnant with 2nd child (1st is almost 5), and I am still constantly exhausted... cannot keep my eyes open in work, out of breath walking up the stairs at home and even the simplest tasks leave me needing a lay down. I was fairly fit beforehand, did quite a bit of running and ran a half marathon in April! From around 7 weeks pregnant I had all day sickness and nausea and was off work for 6 weeks, took cyclizine which I still take now and again for the sickness (it doesn't make it much better!) and I still have constant nausea although now I'm only actually sick once or twice a day. I have knee pain and indigestion all the time...the list goes on! Anyone else feeling completely rubbish and wondering when they will get a bit of energy/normality back?

With my first I breezed through pregnancy with just a little nausea and indigestion, but this time round it's ridiculous!

I'm 24 weeks and feel very much the same. My GP sent me to the hospital the other week as she was concerned something underlying was causing the symptoms as they became so severe I couldn't eat for 3 days in a row and was struggling to keep down fluids. But nothing causing it other than a miserable 2nd trimester

I was sick all of my first trimester, exhausted for all of my second and housebound (PGP) for most of my third. I think some pregnancies are just rough :(

Yep, second trimester bloom has evaded me completely. I'm 18 weeks with my first and feel pretty much the same as you, you're not alone. Flowers

This is reassuring in an unhelpful way.
I'm second trimester and exhausted. Everyone keeps telling me that second trimester bloom means I'll get lots of energy but I'm not feeling it.

I walk 45mins-1hour every day to keep active but on getting up in the morning my legs feel heavy.

You're not alone. Flowers
