When did you start buying big things like pram, Moses basket, cot etc? I'm 12+4 and all I wanna do is shop 😆

29 weeks here and not really started to think about it yet - the only bits I've got are some clothes when I've been in charity shops (mostly excellent quality, hardly worn, some new with tags, and dead cheap - highly recommend!!)

Depends if you have the space for prams and the like to be cluttering up your house way before you need them - we don't.

Also you might want to wait till the 20 week anomaly scan anyway, just in case.

My OH didn't want me to start buying until we had our gender scan at 16 weeks. I agreed on the proviso that after that he couldn't tell me no Grin. I respected his wishes and he respected mine. I am now 29 weeks and have literally everything I need for her. It actually worked out better for us because now we have the extra costs of moving house 2 weeks before she is due, and I feel happier knowing I now have her sorted and can focus on saving for the move.
