Not a question, a statement.

Today, at week 26, I got measured for a maternity bra.

It was the best thing I have done ALLL pregnancy. Having ‘tolerated’ (barely) awful nursing bras thus far with no structure, no support and weird elastic straps inside the cups that tickle and itch like a bitch, I am now cuddling my girlies inside what feels like pure silk and velvet and for the first time in three or more months, my very sensitive chebs do not feel like they are being imprisoned in a bag of insects!!!

Go and treat yourselves!!! You will not regret it!

Where did you go to get measures? I got measured and invested in new underwear but my back has broadened again since Hmm so have resorted to bra extenders again. I will now wait until after birth but don't want to use m&s again as their underwear although isn't awful isn't exactly the nicest! I want the silk and velvet feeling! Grin

I was measured in The one closest to me has a good range of maternity underwear, but I suspect these things are all a bit hot and miss.

Before I was pregnant I was measured a few years ago at M&S, and the bra they recommended to me was pretty awful.

I also saw a site - Nursingbra-shop.co.uk - which also looked like it had a good range 😊

I was measured in Mothercare* (deleted that but by mistake!)
