I'm starting dental nursing and I'm pregnant

I'm starting a dental nursing course in a few months and just started working in a dental surgery. I just found out that I'm pregnant. Does anyone know how this would affect my studying? I'm worried because maternity leave at the practice would surely set back my studying. I would still be able to attend the College I'm sure as it's only one day a week.

If the practical side is really important to the course then I would imagine it would stop your studies. Is it the college that arranged the placement? if so id recommend speaking to them before you start as you can look into deferring for a year of needed or they may end the practical side earlier
