Congratulations! I'm 44 and half way through my pregnancy with DC2. My age isn't a concern for me but I also have a 2 year old and like any second time mum hope I'll be able to cope with keeping two of them happy! Do you have other DC?

Congratulations. I'm 40 today and currently 7+2 and also had a mc in February. My youngest is 6 and we currently have 5 kids in the house, my 3 aged 18, 8 and 6 and my partners 2 girls aged 13 and 11. I've often worried about how I'll cope especially in the holidays when OH is working as I refuse to go anywhere on my own with the 4 littler ones, my eldest works and isn't home much when she isn't working but my middle boy and my partners youngest just seem to have this issue with each other where they just bicker constantly at one and other and I'll be honest it drives me absolutely insane!!!!!
But that said we'll manage. We're women and it's our prerogative right 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ lol

How far along are you? My biggest issue right now is getting past this danger zone I'm currently in as I seem to have my losses at 6/7 weeks.....

I’m 41, 7+2 with baby number 5. Just had a scan today which showed a heartbeat and everything in the right place. Our other kids are 9, 11, 13 & 15 so, it feels like a LONG time since we last did this! Can’t stop googling miscarriage statistics - though seeing the heartbeat today has reassured me a little 😀

I’m 40 and 28 weeks pregnant with my first.
I don’t know if would be easier younger, because this is my first

Hello! I'm 43 and just found out I'm pregnant again. I had a mmc last September and a mc in March so super cautious about this one. This will be baby #9 if I carry to term.

J43mum · 29/07/2019 15:18

@PetraRabbit hi ! I have a 14 nearly 15 year old and a 10 year old already so this will be my third ! I'm happy but also going through the emotions when I miss carried in February I had constant bleeding which I'm constantly looking for ! Made a dr app for the 12 August to see what I should do next x

@J43mum
I’ve been a nanny for 24 years. I know what I’m letting myself in for, 20 years ago I had more energy, but I got to travel the world doing a job I loved. Now I’m ready to do it for me

J43mum · 29/07/2019 18:00

@Em39ma ha so am I ! I work in London where do you work ?

@J43mum just 4 weeks along too! I feel nauseous today already! I usually get very sick and knew with the mc in March that things were amiss as I didn't feel very sick at all. However, with the mmc we had a heartbeat at 8 weeks and everything seemed great but the heart stopped at 8+3. I'm really hoping for 3rd time lucky!

Em39ma · 29/07/2019 18:54

The last 10 years back at home in Hampshire. Mainly Winchester.
I’m not working now, my bosses of3 years made me redundant because I had a miscarriage! Last October.

J43mum · 29/07/2019 19:14

@Em39ma oh no that's bad , fingers crossed for us all ! I have got dr on the 12 August didn't think there was much point going now to be fair !

Hi there, just found out I am pregnant at 41. I'm only 4 weeks so keeping fingers crossed at the minute.

Ozziewozzie · 30/07/2019 20:46

I had my 5th baby at 43, last year. Really glad. My first three are practically leaving the nest so the baby ( now 16 months) was to accompany our 3.5 yr old.
