Hi. I'm Ella and I've just joined this group. I'm 39 yr old and in my first pregnancy after 9 years of failed ivf. I'm 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant now and had a scan 3 days ago plus many before that and everything looks great and normal. However... I'm terrified that something will go wrong. These darn miscarages are scary and happen all the time. I have to do a blood test this for all those scary tests and down syndrome. I'm.all shaken up about that now. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Thanks ladies. Any help and residence would be great.

Hi Ella, slightly different history of ivf post recurrent miscarriage but otherwise I could have written your post a couple of weeks ago! I get about 2 days relief from the anxiety and then it's back to worrying it's all gone wrong! My doc said this is completely normal until you get the reassurance of feeling movements.. I did the NIPT test too - when the phone rang with the results I was shaking!! It is much more rare to get bad news tho

Meant to say 2 days relief after a scan!
