I am 5 weeks 4 days had really bad morning sickness last few days and again this morning however was just lying on sofa had some period like pains then needed toilet have been and am bleeding bright red blood which is more then spotting have been having period like pains now for about a hour am I having a miscarriage?

If no-one is in the house with you now then you should call 111 and talk to them about your symptoms, they will tell you what's going on.

Sounds horrible and so sorry you're having a scare, hope it all end up ok

My husband is here with me I have spoke to my sister she said to ring doctors first thing in the morning is this right or should I contact 111?

Only time will tell now I'm afraid - unfortunately cramping and bleeding in early pregnancy has never been a good sign for me. Unfortunately if you ring the hospital/midwife/early pregnancy unit they won't be able to help much at this stage x

Yeah I thought the same so do I just leave it and not contact anybody ? First pregnancy so

What they'll probably say is, if you're bleeding through a towel within an hour or bleeding for 48 hours they'll suggest to see you. It might be an idea to call them for instruction, especially with it being fresh blood.

Hi Hun sorry your going through this, didn't want to read and run.

I'd call 111 even if it's just for advice, there's not alot anyone can do at this early stage other than wait and see but sometimes it's reassuring to speak to a professional x

Think I will just wait till the morning and call the doctor the period like pains have seemed to have gone very wait and the minute and just feel hungry ? Strange and also isn’t enough blood for it to be on towel just yet just when wiping so will just wait until morning and phone doctors and see if it has got any heavy thank you for your advice I know nothing can be done this early just want sure what to do
