12 week scan anxiety!

Hi I’m pregnant for the 3rd time.

Last year I had two miscarriages - first at 4 weeks following IVF and second was at 8 weeks following a round of clomid. The second was a missed miscarriage, we went to an early private scan to show an empty sac which was absolutely devastating as I had pregnancy symptoms.

Now I am 12 weeks pregnant. I have had 4 scans already 2 on nhs and 2 private and so far it’s all been perfect. Had one at 4, 6, 8, 10 weeks.

I have my official 12 week nhs scan tomorrow and I’m literally a wreck, don’t want to eat, sleep, go out! I’m just so scared something will be wrong. I know all this worrying won’t change the outcome but I’m so scared something happened and my body hasn’t warned me.

I’ve had really bad morning sickness (all day, generally vomiting in the morning) huge boobs and my tummy has changed shape so I know it’s looking good but I’m just terrified! Help and reassurance needed please 💖💙

I totally understand.I was a wreck all way through my pregnancy and everything was fine it was just me imagining the worst at every milestone.

I've been in your exact position! Had a MC last January at 7 weeks then got pregnant again, went to nhs nuchal scan at 13+6 baby had died around a week earlier. I'm now looking at my beautiful 10 week old (I had about 13 scans with her and bleeding with clots 7-17weeks!) Everything was scary and my anxiety was horrible but she is here and so worth it. No none at all but I've had no symptoms at all with all 3 pregnancies. I knew something was wrong though it was weird just deep down I knew. You've had good scans so far try to keep positive please keep us updated and take care xx
