Ok ladies, here’s my story, I’ll try not
To make it too long winded......

I’m 35+5 weeks pregnant with my third baby. In my previous pregnancy I had a small placental abruption ( which they only confirmed during delivery, section at 39 weeks exactly. ) so as this would be my third section now I’ve been booked in for 39+2.

I’ve had on and off bleeding the whole way through this pregnancy as I did with my last and as I’m getting further along it’s becoming more regular. I’ve been kept in for monitoring a few times as they have suspected a small abruption again but as the bleeding tends to settle down and start up again a few days to a few weeks later I get sent home. I’ve now starting developing stomach pains and very regular but non labour contractions. So every time I have a bleed I go to the hospital. Last night I had a bleed so went in, stomach was tender but not horrendous, contractions were as they always are but bleeding had stopped so I was sent home. Fair enough..... but the midwives started saying to me that waiting another 3 and a half weeks seems crazy as it was my 13th bleed along with the other problems I’m getting and with my previous. So when the dr came in to speak to
Me I was just honest and explained how absolutely fed up I am, and would it be atal possible to deliver at 37 weeks as that’s full
Term and this situation is driving me round the bend but she was pretty insistent that babies do not get born via planned section before 39 weeks and basically to just suck it up. I ofc want what’s best for my baby but I just feel like I’m not getting taken seriously, I can’t express how much I’m in and out the hospital it’s weekly!! My stomach pain is still bad this morning and my husband wants me to go back but I’m honestly at the point where I see no point Bcos I just get told ‘ not much longer now’ and I’m just feeling very disheartened and completely fed up and exhausted by the whole situation now.

Sorry @Sophmarsden91 I don't really have any advice but it sounds awful what you're going through!! Only you know your baby and your body, if something isn't right, keep going in and keep telling them! Hope you're feeling better or get the answers you want soon! 💐
