Hi, I'm new to Mumsnet and expecting first baby at the end of October. I've been reading endless reviews of prams/buggies/pushchairs etc and am now a bit confused. We have a Peugeot 206 so a small car; I am small and don't want anything mega heavy, and was thinking about the Silver Cross 3D. Does anyone have one? or does anyone have any suggestions as to a good travel system?
Thank you!

I love the grey polka, Designerbaby. And thanks for the feedback on the silvercross 3d, Princess.

And the rest of you - thanks for adding more suggestions, so I can carry on browsing!

I've had many M&P plikos and I've brought a SX 3D for this LO, the 3D is much nicer and you get a hell of alot for for your money without loseing any quality at all, in my opinion its better quality

Silver Cross 3D Pram-System, come's with!

Pram Apron
liner and pram mattress
Pushchair Footmuff
Changing Bag
Raincover

Weight 9.8kg
height 104cm
width 53cm

M&P Pliko pramette, comes with!

Pram Apron
Raincover
liner (some dont) and without mattress

Doesn't come with!

Pushchair Footmuff £50 extra
Changing Bag around £45 extra
Liner (if it comes without) £40 extra

weight 9kg some cat'sand websites say 10.6kg (so unsure)
height 104cm
width 42cm

And they both cost between £280-£300!

Thanks for the input, Babymad. I think we're going to have to go test drive soon!

Does anyone know which shops you can take pushchairs out of to see how they fit in the car boot? Silly question but important with a small boot....
