6 weeks pregnant, spots of blood

I’m around 6 weeks pregnant and last night noticed tiny spots of blood after I wiped when I went to toilet. I obviously kept an eye on this and it was just tiny bits each time like a couple of dots. I was panicking and thought this was the beginning of a miscarriage. I phoned the hospital who told me just to call early pregnancy this morning which I did but it was voicemail only and no one has called me back. There was nothing all day and I thought all could be ok but I’ve just went to the loo and the same thing happened again. I’ve been a bit sore when going to toilet so I’m not sure if I have a touch of thrush maybe. Does it sound like the beginning of a miscarriage. I’ve had one previously but the spotting came on heavier pretty quickly after first spotting.

I know it's hard but try not to worry too much. I had this on and off for about 5 weeks and it was all fine. I had a scan and they said sometimes there isn't an obvious reason and it just sorts itself out.

It's such a worry being pregnant after miscarriage. I've had miscarriages too and also had spotting, but I also spotted in my two pregnancies that resulted in my dc.
So basically it may not mean anything bad, but of course it might. And thrush can cause similar as you know. Really hope it's all good for you.

@Lou19847 Sorry just read your reply. If you haven't managed to get through can you contact your community midwife? She booked me straight in for a scan but it sounds like your area has a different set up to mine. Good luck with everything
