Braxton Hicks or Labour?

Hiya,

I’m 35+2 and have been having frequent Braxton Hicks for the last 2 hours, every 8-10 mins. Have tried moving around / sitting down but they’re still coming.

I’m not in any pain - my bump is just tightening for around 30 secs and then loosening again.

Is this normal for them to come like this or do I need to ring the labour triage number?

Thanks!

I’d ring maternity assessment and ask their advice, I was full term when I went into labour and it started like this but I tried not to pay much attention as I thought it would be early doors any and went back to sleep! It was probably about another 6 hrs until I even got anything like even a faint contraction. But because your still relatively early id ring and speak to a midwife to put your mind at rest. Good luck!
