I've got a 5 year old DD and nearly 2 year old DS and am currently 6 weeks pregnant. It's only been the first week of the 6 weeks holiday and I'm exhausted already, the heat hasn't helped as I can't sleep at night and then DC get quite bored fidgety and arguing with each other by the end of the day, we try to go out every day even just for a little walk for some fresh air but I've hit that stage of just wanting to eat and sleep. Anyone got any tips for coping with keeping kids entertained whilst feeling like you just want to hibernate?

28 weeks here with a 5yr old DD. Had an awful night last night due to the heat. We spent about an hour laying on my bed while she was both my doctor and hairdresser. Let her go mad with the hairclips!

Paddling pool with loads of toys outside works as well. Other than that, I have zero guilt about indulging her in a bit of cbeebies. She thinks it's brill that she gets to watch some TV and we save the more interactive stuff for when I'm not struggling to keep my eyes open
