Tailbone pain

Does anyone have any miracle cures for this - I'm going mad with the pain.

I work in an office and spend the majority of the day sitting down which isn't something I can change. I got a cushion with a cutout for my cocyx and it was incredible for a couple of days and totally took the pain away but then it came back.

I've been doing pelvic floor exercises plus cat and cow stretches and just staying active in general. But nothing seems to help - when I'm sat down I can feel the pain a little but it's standing up and sitting down which is the worst. Just so painful.

Anyone got any good suggestions? Thinking about booking an appointment with an osteopath. I tried physio but it didn't help and I didn't get any practical advice or exercises so I've just been looking online.

I'm totally following this as I have the exact same problem. It's agony! How many weeks are you? I'm 20 weeks and have been suffering this since about week 15...im waiting for a physio referral. I think that one day I actually will be unable to get up from my office chair!!

Yes i had this, I'm only 17 weeks and it started around 14 weeks...i have had back problems for years but this was a new pain. I was totally overdue a chiropractor visit so booked myself into one that specializes in prenatal treatments. After the 1st visit the pain was pretty much gone, and after the 2nd visit i havent had it since. Defo worth getting someone else to have a look, an osteopath would be a good idea. Xx

I'm 21 weeks and have this as well so following to see if there's a genius out there with a solution! I work in an office too and found it helps slightly to have a stretch and a walk around to try and take the pressure off being sat down!

I had this from about week 20 to a couple of weeks after and then mysteriously it just went away?! So maybe there is hope around the corner?! I'm 28 weeks now.

I'm nearly 17 weeks and starting to get niggling back pain around my tailbone.... I have been swimming, bought an exercise ball to sit on at home and putting heat/cool compresses on which seems to be helping at the moment. if it gets worse I will refer myself to physio.

I injured by tailbone when I was younger and have always had issues with it since so not surprised if it flares up again during this pregnancy.

hope you find something to help you.
