Hi, i am a male who wants to become a father, i am newly wed and the wife and i have been using protection so far. This is because i have been diagnosed with having CMV and EBV, i wanted to know if i impregnate my wife for the first time, will she catch these viruses which can ruin her health and also damage our babies health? My wife has been tested so far and she doesn't have the viruses yet (we've hardly kissed or shared any bodily fluids on purpose) so i am scared that the first time we have unprotected sex, ill give her CMV and EBV. Also if anyone has any experience with recurring EBV and CMV please reply.
