My first symptoms of my pregnancy where stomach cramps and the runs!!!! They continued on and off for a few weeks! But I read that it was fairly common, and it is common for me to have similar symptoms with a period! It was something to do with your uterus growing and changing for baby!
I did mention to midwife at my booking appt and she wasn't phased at all!! I'm 14 weeks now and all good!

Sending 💐 The am not sure how far along you are but don’t want to read and run.
I have had two early miscarriages before 12 weeks. I hope you can try and rest and these cramps pass and all is ok x

Oh OP I’m right there with you.
I’m 4/5 weeks currently and nausea/ metallic taste/ tender breasts has kicked in HARD!

I’ve been getting weird cervical pain (horrid little stabby pains) for 2-3 days and occasional stomach cramps. All feels very perculiar (I think- first time pregnancy though so don’t really know normal)

There’s no sign of blood but mentioned it to my Dr at a routine apt yesterday and he sort of shrugged it off. Apparently they’re only interested if theres blood 🙈

I’m taking it REALLY easy as a precaution. Not going to the gym (I’d probably vom anyway) and trying to keep cool/ calm.

On saying that though if it’s gonna happen it will and there’s probably little we can do to stop it! I know that but at the same time feel like I need to do all I can to help.
Eating is the worst atm but I’m choking down small portions of salad, avocado, hummus, lentils, chicken and fruit.... basically anything it says is good for the baby ...and vitamins obviously.

Ate special K earlier because it’s SOOO plain and has folic acid/ iron

I had cramps too. DD is now 2.5. Pregnancy is a huge change for your body and as a pp said there's lots of stretching and moving around to happen!

Try not to worry too much and take it easy in the heat Thanks

Thank you ladies for the instant support.
I did on Monday test- one of those strip tests (Mon was supposed to be second day of my period) and was negative, then i did clearblue two of them different types on Wednesday as my period is never more than a day late. Both came positive although the no digital one very faint.
My two previous miscarriages were both missed - first detected on the first 12 week scan ( measured 6 week) and second in week 7 after heartbeat was detected initially :(

Can you still use Philips Lumea IPL prestige hair removal during pregnancy?
Anyone done it?

If it's any consolation - with all four of my successful pregnancies, I had cramping in the early stages. With the pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage, I didn't have any signs at all or cramping. Good luck and hope
All goes well.
