How long did it take for you to conceive after mirena coil removal

I am getting my mirena coil taken out at the end of this year so i can try for a baby, how long did it take for you guys to conceive after the removal, I am planning to have protected sex the first month after removal as i want a cycle before i try.

8 months. My periods were really light after it came out. Finally I had a heavier one and then conceived the next month.

Hmm I think my husband looked at me squiffy, or maybe I sat on that chair...but it was a twinkle. Don't give it too much thought. And good luck (for after they arrive of course)...

It was 8 months between getting the mirena out and falling pregnant, however, DH was away with work for 5 months of those, so we weren't trying the whole time. We conceived a month after he arrived back home.

I had mine out last October, had an almost immediate withdrawal bleed/period then two normal periods for Nov and Dec. Fell pregnant the first month of trying in January!

About a week. Didn't even have a period.
