Hi,

My last period was 10 july and we have been at it like rabbits since then with no protection!
Anyway I have a really big do on 10th aug and could do without having my period then so when can i start testing?

I would say another 5 to 6 days would be the earliest. If you are pg, you are three weeks today, so technically, you are a week away from your period (assuming a 28 day cycle).

From what I recall, its up to 4 days early with ...er...the ones that can measure it earlier! Lol I can't remember what they're called now...um...nope, gone.

So anyway, I think they sell them in most supermarkets, aha clearblue - thats the one! If you have a 28-day cycle I guess you should be able to tell from about the 3rd August, but the chance of getting a false negative is higher until the 7th.

I think.

Sorry if I'm not filling you with much confidence here - pregnancy brain is attacking!

Just thought I'd let you know that I didn't get a positive until the day my period wasz due.

I wasn't that impressed as I took 2 tests on the Saturday (as was feeling a little dizzy) with a negative result so consequently went on on the p*ss.

I felt seriouly guilty when the line appeared on the Tuesday after!!!

Just hang in there and take a test on the day your period is due...Good luck:-)
