I had a routine GTT at 28 weeks (BMI of 31) and passed fine. However baby is measuring big after a growth scan that the midwife requested, so the doctor is sending me for another GTT. I will be 35 weeks when test is done and probably nearly 36 by the time someone discusses results. If I do now have GD (how likely is that after passing at 28 weeks?) what is likely to happen? Its surely too late to change my diet drastically, the baby is hardly going to shrink. I have an elective c section booked for 40 weeks after an emergency c section with my first (no GD in that pregnancy). Any thoughts/experiences gratefully received!
