I'm 31+4 weeks pregnant today for reference.
In the last few weeks I've been developing a bad back, on the left side around where my rib is. I work in health and safety so I assessed my chair and the bottom of my chair (the part that I sit on) was solid. I've had my chair for 5 years so maybe my pregnancy ass finally broke it 😂. Anyway, my manager was fine with me getting a new one so I bought a new chair.
I've been using it for a day and a half now (and got myself a footrest too) and my back still seems to be in bits. I only develop it during work so it must be my workstation but I've done everything I can do from adjusting my monitors, changing my chair, footrest, bringing keyboard closer etc.
My question is, has anyone else developed these problems in work and what have you don't to alleviate it? Is there something I can do to take the pain away?
We have an Occ Health nurse in work who does DSE assessments for us, I was assessed a while ago at week 16 and everything was said to be fine back then.
