Coping in the heat

Seriously though, how is everyone coping in this heat? Im 35 weeks and seriously considering just finishing work because its too hot, i have 0 clothes to wear and cant concentrate on anything apart from a fan!

Any tips on keeping cool are needed?x

How is everyone today? It was much cooler for me yesterday and we had quite a good breeze all day! Unfortunately I spent all morning at DDs leavers assembly and couldn’t get a seat at the front OR near the door so literally sat there melting! Tissues soaked through from tears and sweat 🤣🥵
At least my premonition for the previous 8 months didn’t come through and I didn’t go into labour at the assembly!
I’ve had 2 extra days off work this week due to all the end of school stuff going on so been back to work this morning and now sat on my bed with the window open blowing the breeze on me, until my next shift! (Last shift on Monday - woohoo!) So thankful for the little bit of cloud cover we have!

I’m only 11 weeks and struggling so bad in this heat! 37 yesterday and I hibernated indoors all day!
I feel for those of you heavily pregnant in this head, it’s horrendous!
The only relief I had was sleeping in a soaking wet T-shirt, absolute bliss!

I just read that warm baths/showers are better for keeping you cool than cold ones! Not initially, of course, but once you get out you feel the benefit apparently...
