I'm not particularly enjoying it!

So far today:

Ate breakfast: Threw up
Got on Central line: Got off to throw up
Drank some water: Threw up
Got an Uber: Had to get out to throw up
Ate some fruit: Threw up

And on and on...

I'm SO hungry as well!

39+2 today. I am a hot mess. Currently sprawled on bed in just pants. Dh thinks it’s hilarious.

amehh · 23/07/2019 19:18

25+6 and suffering here! Laid in front of the fan earlier, legs akimbo Blush

Rachelover40 · 23/07/2019 19:19

I'm quietly melting.

Sparkle733 · 23/07/2019 19:22

37 weeks feeling v sorry for myself! Lay in front of a fan.

VeryNewToAllThis · 23/07/2019 19:23

@soundsystem how unbearable was the tube today? Going to London tomorrow and have to do a 20min tube ride 🥵

Shahlalala · 23/07/2019 19:26

Melting.

I managed to get DD to the park this morning then had to sit down all afternoon because my feet were SO huge. Never seen anything like it...

soundsystem · 23/07/2019 19:28

@VeryNewToAllThis Um, it was pretty sweaty. It's more the feeling of lack of air that does for me, if that makes sense? I went in before 7 and out by 3 to avoid the worst of it but it was hot!

I've found people really good at offering seats in though, so at least you shouldn't have to stand (and to be fair in this heat I would just ask!)

If you can plan your route avoiding the Bakerloo and Central lines I would do!

I love the heat so have been annoying everyone by being in a super good mood today. I also finished for mat leave earlier so I can just lie about in my pants for the next few days. In terms of the tube, I prefer to stand at the end and get a bit of a breeze. I find there's no air if you're sitting down. People look at me like I'm crazy when I turn down a seat (I'm massive) but cool air definitely wins out!

ooooohbetty · 23/07/2019 19:32

I had my children during very hot summers and the most effective thing for keeping cool in bed was to rinse one of my OH's massive T-shirts in cold water and wear it wet to bed. Yes it got the sheets and mattress wet but it was worth it. Kept me cool for ages.

melissa1215 · 23/07/2019 21:31

29 weeks and suffering, probably going to have chub rub on my thighs from the heat

sandytoes84 · 23/07/2019 21:33

Almost 15 weeks and morning sickness ha returned today! Had a horrendous day with hay fever yesterday, not sure of that triggered it, the heat or just bad luck that sickness has come back.

Thankfully I drive to work, had to leave early and drive back was unpleasant, but I really feel for those of you taking the tube in this heat!

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 23/07/2019 21:43

sweaty, sweaty underboob. I feel so gross.

ememem84 · 23/07/2019 22:13

37 degrees here today. Sweat underboob a gogo.

I also have a stinking cold. Which is fun. 🤔

twistyturnycurlywhirly · 23/07/2019 22:19

I'm 23 weeks. I'm not happy unless I can point out every 5 minutes to everyone around me that it's bloody hot.

aliensprig · 23/07/2019 22:36

Oh god OP nothing as bad as that Sad are you doing okay now? Managed to eat something? I hate being on public transport at the best of times but it's bloody awful when you're feeling sick!

I'm only 17 weeks but bump has chosen this week to fully "pop" so I am waddling about like a fat sweaty penguin. I really feel for those of you due to deliver soon...

ELM8 · 23/07/2019 22:41

Sorry to hear that OP, sounds horrendous.

Past the sick stage luckily but 22 weeks and feel massive already so am a big sweaty mess.

Laying on the bed in pants with a frozen flannel on my head and iced water to drink, kindly provided by hubby in between laughing at the state of me.

Open windows plus hay fever = constant sneezing fits as well which are adding to the enjoyment.

Mrsmummy90 · 23/07/2019 23:09

I'll be 40 weeks on Friday. Currently feel like I'm cooking from the inside. Just want baby to make an appearance!

ememem84 · 26/07/2019 19:13

40 weeks on Monday. I honestly feel like I’m about to pop.

Dh has just kindly pointed out stretch marks under my bump. Which I can’t see 😓😓
