Slow growth induction

Hi all

Following several growth scans where baby has been on 10th centile, it now appears that baby has stopped growing. I have another scan to confirm this this week. If it is the case that baby has stopped growing, I've been told I will likely be induced.

Does anyone know when this would be? Is it likely to be on the day of my scan? Or will they send me home first?

I would like to be prepared so thinking of taking my hospital bag in with me just in case?

Also, as baby is only showing at 2 and a half pound at the minute, is it likely that baby will go to NICU? I feel very very under prepared for this!

Thanks

How many weeks is the baby? Do you mean 2.5 kg or 2.5 lb because the latter is under 1 kg. I had a full term baby at 2.5 kgs and he didn’t need any NICU stay and it was never even considered.

I'll be 35 weeks but yes only 2.5 lbs judging from latest scan. I'm hoping it's just a miscalculation 😊
