Cold swimming pool !

Hey ladies, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and this heat is not much fun !! Just wondering if anyone knows if I can go in an outdoor unheated pool ? The water is cold enough that it takes you a couple of minutes to brave getting in !!!

Just checked in the book 'The Pregnant Athlete' and it doesn't say anything about avoiding cold water (other than wearing a cap to keep you warm - but that probably isn't refering to people trying to cool off because the air temperature is too hot).The baby won't know about the temperature as your body will keep them at the right temperature so as long as you don't shock yourself too quickly, I don't think it's a problem. And in a pool you can easily get out if you start to feel funny.

Of course it's fine to go in it.
