Weekend away before baby arrives- inspiration?

Hi,
Currently 23 weeks and looking at booking a weekend away with DH before DD arrives. I’ll be around 30 weeks, looking at UK and 1 possibly 2 nights. We both love good food, and I’d prefer somewhere quiet over a city break.
(Also bonus if hotel has pool/spa)

Anyone done similar? I’d love a bit of inspiration Smile

Eastwell manor is a champneys spa near Ashford, really relaxing hotel/spa and amazing food! Often do good deals too x

We stayed at the Vineyard in Newbury when I was about the same with DS1.
Stunning spa hotel that does a great pregnancy massage, and also a brilliant line in non alcoholic wines that actually taste like wine, not grape juice and the food was spectacular.

The Priory in Bath is gorgeous and has a Michelin star restaurant. Also easy access to the beautiful city of Bath where you could organise a trip to the new thermal spa.

Watergate Bay hotel in Cornwall is very coastal chic with a stunning swimming pool with views straight out to sea and plenty of nearby dining options, not to mention Watergate Bay itself.

Cliveden House in Berkshire has an absolutely gorgeous spa (indoor and outdoor) and also does great food. You can take a relaxing boat ride down the Thames and the grounds are very peaceful to walk around.

Boringdon Hall in Devon has an insane spa! Also the Lygon Arms in Broadway is a stunning spot, sweet village and lovely food.

Lastly, I've never been, but Chewton Glen in Hampshire is supposed to be fabulous.

If budget constraints are an option, sign up to TravelZoo - they do loads of decent deals.

When I was 35 weeks we stayed the night at The Broadway, in Broadway Cotswolds. Was lovely,
