Hi moms. My husband is American and we are living in Argentina for the last 6 months as he got work there. My son (8 mo ths) was born in the UK shortly before moving here and i am now 12 weeks pregnant with our second. I would ideally like to give birth in the UK and i am worried that i wont be elligble for NHS healthcare. The main reasons i want to go home are A-i dont speak spanish and when in a vulnerable position lile childbirth i feel i need to understand and be able to communicate 100% properly; B-they are very quick to C section here even if there is no medical reason to do so simply because the doctor gets paid more.
My question is, how can i get booked in at my GP from abroad (i'm trying to pop back for a visit but in case i cant), and is it an issue that we have left the country for 6 months? (Our move here is not permanent as the job is only until December but practically we have been out the UK for 6 months).
Really worried and looking for advice. Only want the best healthcare for pregnancy and birth and despite having an excellent doctor and the top health insurance available here i am just not comfortable with giving birth. Please advise anyone. Thanks

This is a genuine question, not goady - would you not have ro move back before that (without DH) dur to flying restrictions/insurance in the third trimester?
