Any other ladies suffering from this and do you have any suggestions on how to relieve the pain?

Yeah, I'm 30 weeks now and have had numb fingers and painful hands most mornings for about 6 weeks now. It doesnt last all day thankfully.
Midwife gave me a physio referral form but said they'll just give me splints and they're not likely to help much. Not ideal but I'm just waiting it out as the physio dept is quite far away for me. I might just get some splints from amazon or somewhere and give them a try anyway.

I'm 33 weeks and it came on suddenly the past week and a bit in both hands. Wasn't too horrible to begin with, a bit of an annoyance but very manageable. I now where supportive braces (with the metal brace) on both hands pretty much all day.
Now, i have it in both hands to the point where i literally can't even make a cup of tea because i can't grasp the kettle because i can't make a fist, and driving to and from work is terrifying.
Midwife told me to go to my GP, GP told me to self refer to physio...
I can't believe how quickly it came on and how rapidly it's progressed.

I had this in my 1st pregnancy, no advice really but I found every so often just doing circles with my wrists to be helpful.
Currently 34wks with my 2nd and feel like CTS is setting in againSad thankfully only in one hand - so far!

I was given splints at the hospital, and they helped enormously.
They were wrist things that kept me from folding my hands in Shen I slept and worked a treat. Before I had them, I kept waking up with the pain.

I had this in my first pregnancy. Towards the end in both wrists. It was HIDEOUS. So painful. I bought fully strapped splints for each side and it made the world of difference xx
