What are the weirdest pregnancy symptoms you’ve experienced?

At 39 weeks now I’ve been extremely lucky to have not had nausea, cravings, aversions or stretch marks, however I have got SPD, swollen hands and feet. But my weirdest development by far is my bite being out of alignment (can’t slice/bite off food with my front teeth) and developing a lisp!!
Curious as to what other expectant mummies have had as weird symptoms!

I think I'm better at video games? Primal baby brain over 'smart' brain perhaps?
Also some of my food intolerances are gone and some food that was good or just ok now tastes amazing!

I've had a lot of other symptoms but it was all stuff I was expecting- nausea, exhaustion, sickness, cravings, aversions, stretchmarks, anaemia, heartburn etc...

I never expected to get spd/pgp, I thought it was rare and always requiring crutches/wheelchair, not something 1 in 5 of us get!

Pregnancy mask. Got it with my last baby (5th) it's taken 2 years for it to go. Hadn't even heard of it before

My weirdest is that I produce so much drool. My mouth constantly feels like it's full of saliva but really dry at the same time

With middle child my hair turned curly, still like that. Unfortunately not nice bouncy curls more like frizz head most of time

This one is super weird! I've always had just one randomly thick hair on my stomach a few cm below my belly button and my identical twin sister has one in exactly the same place. Anyway, the first time I got pregnant I noticed a second thick hair had grown!

Before my second scan with that pregnancy I noticed the second hair was kind of withered and weak looking but told myself not to be ridiculous...turns out I'd had a MMC and the baby had recently died (seen a heartbeat previous scan). So now I'm pregnant again and the second hair is back!! It's honestly the weirdest thing.

Its probably related to the fact that I'm just hairier in general but still. Very strange.

I had really bizarre restless legs, could not bare to lie down without looking like i was fitting. GP told me to drink cold water then walk round the room, this did help but it was unbearable every night during my 2nd trimester.

Forgot pregnancy mask, 8 years on still have orange tinges around my face.

I have the snottiest nose. Have since the beginning and it’s constant!
Also the current lack of stretch marks, I have time to go yet but I expected a lot more and a lot angrier!

Only early days for me but I was expecting tiredness nausea etc but I feel like the room is spinning like I've too many drinks and dizzy, keep feeling cold and getting the shakes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh and losing hair?! I thought you gained it but everytime in the shower clumps are coming out 😭

Sneezing! I sneezed at least 50 times a day every day throughout my last pregnancy.

The first few weeks I had a really strong pressure on my bum hole!! Like someone was poking it from the inside... So weird!!! I googled loads and didn't find many other people with it so I must be a freak! Haha

My husband seeming to have the same symptoms as me - nausea, fatigue and now coccyx pain. Seem to be sharing!!

Dairy intolerance for 3/4 of pregnancy

Around 11 weeks, all of my long-healed ear cartilage piercings (3 x helix and one conch, all implant grade titanium) became incredibly irritated and swollen basically overnight for no reason. I had to take them all out for relief. Gutted! 😂

I only have about 3 hairs on each leg! Apart from that they've gone completely smooth.

On the other hand, barely any head hair comes out when washing/styling whereas normally my thin hair falls out just by looking at it.

I was obsessed with ice cubes. I would spend all day chewing them. It was weird cause I have SUPER sensitive teeth and struggle to eat cold foods but while pregnant my teeth were absolutely fine with cold foods.

Congested nose and itchy nipples!
Such a glamorous time.
