Measuring Small

I had my 28 week midwife appointment yesterday (at 29 weeks) and was told I was measuring 27cm which puts me under the 5th percentile. I am now waiting for a scan which is on Thursday.
I was originally told that I would be scanned today or Monday, but after chasing up I was told that they only scan on thursdays so I'd have to wait.
I'm not massively worried except at the thought of low fluid. What if I'm leaking and that's why I'm measuring small?
I do leak a bit, but I think it's wee. This is baby #2 and I leaked wee last time. I'm trying to do pelvic floor exercises to ensure after baby arrives, I don't suffer lasting effects as I've only started to leak since being more pregnant.
Baby is still moving around but today feels less like kicks and punches and more rolls so maybe it's squished in there??

Anyone been through it and can offer some thoughts/advice?

@Frizzy1986Hey OP some bumps just measure small, I wouldn’t be overly concerned to be honest. I measure about 4/5cms behind (2nd pregnancy). Until they give you a growth scan you I wouldn’t take much notice of the centiles to be honest.

I’ve had growth scans since 28 weeks due to previous pregnancy being 6lb at birth (2nd~9th centile). This one is small to but not as small, 10th centile. That’s based off growth scans rather than the midwife measuring.

They will have a look at cord flow, measurements etc.

Try not to worry. Some bumps measure small.
I was measuring small with both of mine (by 4-5cm towards the end) and they were both 8lbs+. Both stubbornly back to back too.

Your scan will help with more info and hopefully put your mind at rest - they will check fluid, measurements etc as PP said.

Thanks. I think because last time I was almost bang on 50th the whole way through, I'm a bit surprised.
Dd arrived at 37+4 weighing 6lb 5 (so would have been a decent weight if she stayed in longer) but she then lost over 13%, got bad jaundice, struggled feeding and had to have light therapy when she was a week old. It was quite a stressful experience with all the new mum hormones rushing around. It concerns me having a small baby this time.
The consultant said they'd scan me within a day or 2 but after calling to chase up the scan I was told the unit only scan once a week so I feel I'm now left waiting around.
I'm worrying that my placenta isn't working properly, or the cord isn't doing its job, or I'm losing water or something. Didn't want to spend a week stressed out about it all and it's really getting to me.
I've suffered from anxiety in the past, and i just can't seem to shift this fear even though I know it's irrational and it's most likely that baby is just squished up in there and all is OK.

I measured small with both pregnancies...first baby was born weighing 8.5 pound full term and baby 2 my midwife didn't even bother referring me for a scan... I'm very slim and had very small bumps! Number 2 was born full term weighing 7 pound 12 so another good weight!

@Frizzy1986 it’s easier said than done not stressing but I just try not to worry about things. This pregnancy I’m high risk of pre term labour due to cervix issues and she’s small (10th centile) so I’ve got to essentially take it easy till I hit 34 weeks as then they won’t stop her coming early. She’s so so low down in my pelvis that they couldn’t even scan her head in the growth scan 🙈 but I try not too worry..... I’ve been treated so well by the hospital so far that I feel safe in their hands and that they’ve got everything in hand.

I would say that if the midwife thought you were losing water (she would be able to feel this) that you would have been in the same day.
