Could anybody who has had a blood test at approximately 5+5 gestation, tell me what their HCG levels were, and how their pregnancy progressed from that point on? Went to EPU due to spotting today, they’re planning to scan me tomorrow but did a blood test today.

I think mine was around 6700..im nearly 11 weeks now..but everyone's hcg can differ so much! How are you feeling since?

@Novasky1 - mostly anxious! Haven’t had more spotting today, it was on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. Hoping it’s to do with the pessaries I’m taking but, as I’m high risk in many ways, I can’t help fearing the worst 😬

Mine were 14,500 at 5+4

I am now 11+2 and so far so good

The levels can vary massively. The test is helpful if it’s repeated every 48h to see how quicky the levels are rising. Otherwise, they might have done it to confirm pregnancy + your hCG levels would generally need to be a certain level for sth to be visible on the scan. So it might just be to confirm that there’s a point in scanning.

I had a hCG test at 5+3 (IVF so definitely accurate dates) and it was 3500. I had a very healthy pregnancy and a big, strong baby boy.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow!

Mine were 13394 at 5+3 and then 23651 at 5+5. I had a scan at 5+6 which was classed as "inconclusive" as they could see a gestational sac and possibly the start of a fetal pole but weren't sure. All was good though and I'm 36 weeks now!

I have a chart! 4 to 5 weeks should be between 200 and 8000 UI/l and 5 to 6 weeks should be between 4000 and 90000.
